Alex
(Josh Wise), James (Sean Shanks) and Eric (Tony LaThanh) are
three unlikely friends on a road trip to California. The only
problem is that Alex hasn’t told his friends his intention
not to return with them. In a small town in New Mexico they
are joined by Susie (Chelse Swain) and Kristie (Amanda MacDonald)
with secret plans of their own. From the plains of the Mid-West
heartland to the deserts of the Southwest, The Naked Ape is
a bitter sweet dramatic comedy about friendships, insecurities,
rites of passage and the death of idealism.
